Release Notes
Review product changes that affect real workflows, from imports and risk planning to account behavior.
This page highlights product updates that affect real workflows.
July 2026
More accurate imported trade reviews
- completed-trade files without timezone markers now land on the correct trading day for supported export formats
- re-importing corrected trade times refreshes stale chart data instead of keeping a preview from the previous time window
- estimated futures fees on completed-trade CSV files now account for the full round turn
- chart previews fail faster when an intraday source cannot cover the trade, while compatible saved snapshots remain available
Private beta desktop imports
- eligible traders can pair the Ploutos desktop connector from Connections without sharing a broker password
- the MotiveWave beta includes Windows and Mac packages and imports completed trades from the trader's computer
- ATAS and MotiveWave connections now keep clearer sync status and setup guidance inside the existing Connections workspace
More resilient database hosting
- production data now runs on a managed PostgreSQL service with encrypted connections and recovery backups
- the migration verified every application table, index, constraint, and sequence before traffic moved
- database access is restricted to the production server, while the previous database remains available temporarily as a read-only recovery path
Fresher Demo workspaces with less background work
- Demo workspaces keep their longer-term trade history while refreshing only the recent sample window
- recently used Demo workspaces stay current automatically without rebuilding every account separately
- inactive Demo workspaces repair themselves when they are opened again
June 2026
Safer account reloads and broker cleanup
- reloading the app is less likely to open Demo when a real account with trades is available
- Ploutos no longer shows an in-app reload prompt every time a new deployment is available
- when every trade in the current scope is already reviewed, the dashboard opens the reviewed list instead of showing an empty pending queue
- disabling one synced broker account no longer clears grouped review trades that belong to another broker account
Faster stop planning in trade forms
- trade entry and trade review now let you set an initial stop by price or by planned dollar risk
- when you type dollar risk, Ploutos calculates the matching stop price from entry, size, direction, and market value
- when you type stop price, Ploutos still shows the planned 1R dollar risk
More reliable CSV imports after upload
- clear CSVs with entry, exit, and P&L no longer wait on optional format assistance
- ambiguous CSVs now let you choose whether rows are completed trades or executions
- imports keep refreshing the journal before the modal closes, so newly imported trades appear without a browser refresh
- MT4-style account-history reports with repeated Price columns now map entry and exit prices correctly
- closed-trade CSV rows with custom notes no longer collapse into one pending grouped trade in the journal
Easier Pro restart after a subscription ends
- the pricing guide now lets users with an ended Pro subscription start checkout again
- account billing remains available for invoices, payment methods, cancellation, and plan cadence changes
- the pricing message is clearer when billing is connected but the subscription is no longer active
Faster large CSV imports
- large closed-trade CSV files now analyze and prepare much faster
- import preview appears faster while still checking the file shape and first rows
- large futures files are less likely to hit a timeout during import preparation
- re-importing the same CSV now updates trade facts without clearing your review status, notes, strategy, tags, saved stop, or chart markup on matching trades
More readable Help Center and Blog pages
- Help Center and Blog articles now use larger reading text and more comfortable line spacing
- side navigation, search fields, page rails, and related guide links are easier to scan
- light mode now has stronger contrast on Help Center and Blog surfaces
Clearer default-risk application
- applying default risk to existing trades now covers reviewable imported trades when entry, size, and market value are available
- the account setting now makes it clearer that applying default risk to existing trades is a one-time save action
- the Risk management empty state now links directly to the account's Default risk setting
More reliable trade image uploads
- trade image uploads now use the selected image file directly, so the 5 MB limit applies to the actual image instead of an inflated upload payload
- large chart screenshots are compressed before upload when possible, and oversized-image errors now explain what to do instead of showing an HTTP code
- trade save and image-upload errors now stay scoped to the current trade modal and clear when you close or open another trade form
- valid screenshots between 1 MB and 5 MB can now reach the API instead of being stopped by the web proxy first
Older futures chart previews in production
- hosted deployments now pass the Databento historical chart settings into the API container
- older short futures trades can use intraday historical candles instead of losing chart context after Yahoo's intraday window
- chart previews can now reuse nearby stored candles for the same account and market when a matching trade is missing its own snapshot
- short futures reviews now retry with finer historical candles when minute-level data is too coarse for the trade markers
- imported and demo chart previews now replace stale stored candles when fresh market snapshots are available
- journal filters now open more reliably after an update and animate more smoothly
Clearer Insights reads
- Insights now uses larger reading text, chips, chart labels, evidence labels, and finding summaries
- the Insights route now uses one clear page title and a compact trust-check card instead of duplicate headings
- ranked decision signals now appear before the checklist, so the core read is easier to reach on desktop and mobile
- long strategy and market labels wrap in insight charts instead of being cut off
- dense edge breakdowns now show the clearest buckets first instead of turning every signal into a mini spreadsheet
- session and entry-hour insights now use New York trading time, matching the Journal session filters
- market insight filters now use the same canonical market keys as the Journal
- payoff wording is clearer in Insights, with "payoff ratio" replacing R:R labels where the read is about average winners and losers
- the top Insights brief now names the actual next-session decision and keeps the evidence ordered around that decision
- the pre-trade read now shows one ordered review gate before the evidence, with trust checks folded into the same flow
- the Journal now includes a Trade scanner widget with subtle average win/loss guides, making outsized trade results easier to spot and open
- the Journal trade scanner now opens the exact trade you click and keeps the cursor on that trade instead of jumping back to the latest result
- the Journal now shows a floating Clear filters action when your scope is narrowed, so you can reset from anywhere on the review page
- the Journal now shows a compact filters shortcut when the filter controls are out of view
- Journal filter updates now show a clearer loading status that stays visible while you are scrolled deeper into the review page
- evidence cards now explain the read and the next review step with context-specific coaching instead of generic metric summaries
- concentration reads now include a top-mover trade map so the outlier check points to the trades worth opening first
- Insights now gives key amounts and secondary signals more visual hierarchy without adding extra chart noise
- evidence trades in Insights now open the corresponding trade review directly
Clearer CSV history-window feedback
- CSV imports now stop with a clear message when every parsed trade is outside the Free history window
- import summaries now include rows skipped by the account history window
Safer BacktestIQ CSV detection
- BacktestIQ-style closed-trade files with entry and exit timestamps now stay in closed-trade mode even when assisted detection suggests an execution-fill shape
May 2026
Stop loss and R ratio tracking
- manual, imported, and synced trades can now store an initial stop
- trade review now shows initial 1R versus the actual reward-to-risk ratio after fees
- charts can show the saved stop, entry, and exit together
- the trades list and dashboard now surface R ratio context when a trade has a complete risk plan
- accounts can now store a default risk amount, manual trade entry can suggest size from that risk target, new reviewable trades can derive an initial stop from it, and account settings can overwrite initial stops for existing reviewable trades
- grouped trades now calculate that default stop from the average entry fill, not from the closing fill
More accurate futures contract math
- grouped futures trades now use contract multipliers for more FX, metals, and Treasury markets when broker fills do not include realized P&L
- chart previews for those trades infer entry and exit prices from the same market-aware contract math
More complete market filters
- market filters now use the account's full available market history, not only the trades visible on the current page
- selected markets stay available while you narrow dates or move through paginated trade lists
Faster first review after import
- accounts with imported or synced trades now get a focused first-review guide before any trade has been reviewed
- the guide opens the next pending trade directly, so the first review starts from the actual trade instead of another navigation step
- the same guide links to fee settings, making it easier to confirm net P&L before reading the account summary
Stronger broker refresh safeguards
- broker account refreshes now have clearer internal monitoring when a provider is being queried too often
- this helps keep automatic sync behavior quieter and less likely to run into provider-side limits
Clearer Rithmic system selection
- Rithmic setup now includes
LucidTradingin the direct connection system list - Lucid-funded Rithmic users can select the Lucid system directly instead of trying unrelated systems such as Apex
- connection guidance now calls out that prop-firm Rithmic logins may need the firm's own Rithmic system name
More actionable Insights
- Insights now open with a next-session brief, a short review checklist, and cleaner confidence cues
- ranked signals can send you straight back to the Journal with the relevant market, strategy, tag, session, or direction filter
- each major signal now shows example trades behind the finding, so the read is easier to verify before changing the next plan
- the page now calls out early-sample and outlier-heavy signals more clearly
- cached Insights now refresh more smoothly without briefly flashing outdated copy
Safer broker account refreshes
- Rithmic account refreshes now reuse recent broker-account results instead of asking the provider for the same account list repeatedly
- when a recent Rithmic refresh fails but saved accounts already exist, Ploutos keeps the saved account list available so the workflow does not keep retrying the provider
More reliable CSV fee handling
- CSV imports without a commission column now use the account's estimated fee settings instead of treating missing fees as a real
$0.00commission - the CSV import flow now warns when fees may need configuration and links directly to the account fee settings
- updating estimated fees now also applies to older imported CSV trades whose commissions were estimated or missing
Light mode and theme controls
- the topbar now has a theme toggle that switches between dark and light mode
- the chosen theme persists across sessions and is applied as the app opens
- the dashboard, trade tables, account switcher, support modal, and help center all support both themes
Trade images now save with the form
- attached trade images stay pending until you save the trade, instead of writing immediately on selection
- the review modal no longer closes on backdrop click, so it stops dismissing while you select files or drag inside long fields
- snapshot sharing now opens X, WhatsApp, or Instagram alongside the existing copy and download actions
Sharper Interactive Brokers Flex behavior
- some IBKR equity and ADR symbols are now classified more accurately instead of being mistaken for futures markets
- IBKR fractional share quantities now import and group more accurately
- chart previews now resolve more IBKR equity and ADR tickers, including international exchange suffixes
- open IBKR positions now show the current marker more clearly in chart previews
Real data in the demo workspace

- chart previews in the demo now stay better aligned with realistic market movement

- the Stripe billing portal is reachable for invoices, payment methods, and switching between monthly and yearly billing
- account deletion now asks for email confirmation before continuing
In-app support accepts screenshots
- the support modal accepts pasted, dropped, or selected PNG, JPG, or WebP images
- you can attach up to 3 screenshots under 5 MB each and pick the relevant Ploutos account
Faster first paint
- the sign-in page appears faster before the full product workspace loads
- modals keep a stable height while they load, instead of opening as collapsed empty shells
- app refreshes keep more cached assets warm, so reloads stay fast

Free and Pro limits are now enforced
- Free now includes 1 standard account plus the Demo workspace
- Free standard accounts now show and accept the most recent 60 days of trade history
- Pro trial and Pro include full history, more standard accounts, premium insights, and supported sync
- pricing copy in the app and public landing page now reflects those limits
Better trade review and safer editing

Save changesonly lights up when the trade form is actually dirty- short trade previews handle tighter entry and exit spacing more clearly
More useful dashboard drilldowns
