Privacy policy

Ploutos is a trade journaling product. This page explains, in plain language, how we handle the information you give us when you use the product.

What we collect

• Account information you give us during sign-in, such as your email address and name.
• Journal data you add or import, including trades, notes, tags, strategies, screenshots, and account labels.
• Connection data needed to sync trade history into your workspace.
• Operational data such as product errors, sync diagnostics, and security events that help us keep the service stable.

How we use it

We use your information to:

• authenticate your access to Ploutos
• keep your journal and account workspaces separate
• import, sync, and display your trade history
• improve reliability, support, abuse prevention, and security monitoring
• provide billing and account administration when paid plans are enabled

We do not sell your personal data.

Connection credentials and data

Ploutos is built to minimize credential exposure.

• Sensitive connection data is encrypted at rest.
• Credentials are not returned to the frontend after submission.
• When a provider supports delegated OAuth, Ploutos prefers that flow over collecting reusable passwords directly.

Service providers

Ploutos may rely on infrastructure and software providers to operate the product, including hosting, email delivery, billing, monitoring, and supported integrations.

Those providers only receive the information required to deliver their part of the service.

Data retention

We retain account and journal data for as long as your workspace remains active, unless you request deletion or the account is removed under the applicable service terms.

Operational logs and security events may be retained for a shorter period for support, fraud prevention, and service reliability.

Your choices

You can:

• stop using supported connections
• delete imported trade history from a workspace
• delete or wipe supported Ploutos accounts from inside the product when those actions are available

Security

No system can promise perfect security, but Ploutos is built with encrypted secret storage, authenticated account access, and least-exposure defaults for provider integrations.

Changes

Ploutos may update this privacy policy as the product, infrastructure, and legal posture evolve. Material updates will be reflected on this page.
